Bekker Wines takes pride in their Grenache variety, which ripens late and has a medium body. Their Grenache enhances vintage and vineyard’s signature more prominently than Shiraz in the year 2015. The old, dry-farmed vineyard planted in the 1930s provides the structural core of this wine.
In the 2015 vintage, there are subtle hints of spice and fragrance added to the wine’s aroma. Its flavour profile is dominated by small red fruits, including cranberries and wild raspberries, with notes of Asian spices like star anise and cloves. The wine’s medium body and fragrant character are lifted by a long, soft, velvety finish.
