Your delivery options
Standard Next Working Day Delivery
Benefit from next (working) day delivery when you order before 11AM. Orders placed after 11AM will be dispatched the following day, on a next-day service (e.g. an order placed at 3pm on Monday will be dispatched Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday).
We offer FREE delivery, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) on all orders of £100 or more.
When you place your order, you can add additional delivery instructions to your order to help your delivery without problems or delay. Simply fill in the box titled ‘ORDER NOTES INC DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS’ on the checkout page. You can find this box at the bottom of the checkout page.
Whilst our standard service does not guarantee delivery before a certain time, it does allocate an hour window which is sent to you in a notification. We also offer the additional premium service of delivery before 9AM, before 1030AM or before 12 midday. To take advantage of this service please email us for a quote.
Couriers do not deliver on weekends as part of normal service, however, we are delighted to offer the option for delivery of your wine on a Saturday for a fee of £13 for each box of 12 bottles. To take advantage of this service please email us.
Managing your delivery with DPD
After you’ve placed an order with Wanderlust Wine and received a text or email notification from DPD regarding your delivery, click the link on the notification or visit DPD’s website to track your parcel: https://www.dpd.co.uk/service/. Simply enter your Parcel Number and check your order status. From there you can also manage your DPD delivery with the following options:
I want to pick-up my order at my local DPD pickup point
With DPD Pickup, you may choose to have your order delivered to the nearest DPD Pickup point, which you can find here. Simply follow the instructions from the text and/or email notification you’ve received from DPD and instruct to have your order diverted to a local DPD Pickup point of your choice.
I want my order to be left in a safe place
Following the DPD notification you received via text and/or email, or using your Reference Parcel Number in DPD tracking, you can give DPD permission to leave your order to a safe place at your house. Choose ‘Safe place’ from the list of options you receive in your DPD notification and add a drescription of your safe place for the driver to leave your parcel.
I want my order delivered to my neighbour
If you are not going to be in when your order is scheduled for delivery, an option available is to get it delivered to a neighbour of your choice. Simply follow the instructions from the text and/or email notification you’ve received from DPD, then select the ‘Deliver to neighbour’ option and add their address for the delivery.
I want to add delivery instructions
Your home may be difficult to find even if the address is correct. If you think that adding additional delivery instructions for the driver may be useful, you can do so by following the instructions in the text or email notifications you received from DPD, or from the DPD tracking page using your parcel number. If you do not have a DPD tracking number, email us and we will help you.
I want to change my delivery address
If you wish to change the delivery address before your order has been delivered, this can easily be done using your DPD Parcel Number or following the text or email instructions DPD sent you. Select ‘Change address’ from the list of options and add the new address to deliver your order to.
I want to change my delivery date
It is possible that the delivery date doesn’t fit your schedule. For these occasions, DPD allows you to simply change the date of your delivery to a day that works for you. In the DPD tracking page, enter your Parcel Number, choose ‘Change delivery date’ in the listed options, and select the date for your delivery.
I want to provide contact details for my delivery
In the event that you wish to provide additional contact details, you can do so by accessing your DPD order using your Parcel Number and selection the option “Provide contact details”. From there you can simply add a phone number or email address to help DPD communicate with your regarding your delivery.
What if I have an offshore shipping address
If you have an offshore address the standard delivery charges will be:
Offshore delivery charge: £23.00*
(*Payable for addresses that incur a DPD remote location fee, for example, The Highlands, Scotland. )
How do I know my order is complete?
‘Complete’ means it has been received and sent to the warehouse. We send you a quick email with an attached fully itemised tax receipt for your records. You will be able to track the delivery status using the DPD notifications you will receive.
When will my order be delivered?
We do our best to deliver next day delivery with our warehouse and delivery partner. You’ll get a text to your mobile phone to let you know it’s on its way (please remember to include your mobile number with the order!).
What is my DPD Parcel Number?
After you placed you order, you should expect a text or email notification from DPD on the day of delivery. If you have not received a notification, please check your order confirmation to ensure that you entered your contact information correctly. Contact us to let us know if you cannot find your DPD Parcel Number.
Where is my parcel if I can't locate it?
If your DPD tracker shows that your order was successfully delivered but you cannot locate your parcel, we encourage you to check for the photography taken by your driver at the time of delivery. This may help you locate your parcel and collect it. If you are not able to locate it, please email us and we will investigate the issue with DPD and arrange for the delivery of your order as rapidly as possible.
Why did DPD leave a card instead of my parcel?
If your DPD driver left a card instead of your wine order, it is because they were not able to do so. Using the Reference Number on the card they’ve left, you can choose one of the options in the Manage my delivery with DPD section to arrange for another delivery.
What happens if I miss both delivery attempts from DPD?
DPD will attempt to deliver your order twice, sending you notifications by text/email to keep you informed and allow you to add instructions for the delivery. In the event that you miss both delivery attempts and do not reply to DPD’s notifications, your order will be returned to us. To schedule another delivery attempts and cover for the additional courier costs, we will charge another £7.50 shipping fee.
