An elegant Montepulciano from Baxter’s Fox Hill vineyard, further inland to achieve optimal ripeness. This vineyard is an old plantation from when Italian settlers first planted vines in Anderson Valley around 1950.

The wine is velvety smooth, earthy and expressive. Bright red plums, blackberry and thyme dominate the palate. It is delicate, precise and fresh with some structure (naturally Montepulciano has a good level of tannins). Excellent with food, particular richer and dishes with big flavours!
