Ridge has made Zinfandel on the single vineyard East Bench site since 2006. it is one of only two Ridge wines that are 100% zinfandel. The vineyard sits high overlooking Dry Creek Valley.
The wine provides a nose of rich raspberry and pepper accompanied by floral and mineral notes. The palate is layered with dark cherry and black currant fruit, mineral, and cocoa. It has balanced acidity with fine tannins on the finish.
