Domaine de Bellevue is a renowned certified organic and biodynamic producer in the Pays Nantais that is forging a modern path for Muscadet through creative winemaking, fearless experimentation and true passion thanks to Jerome Bretaudeau. Because of his freestyle experimentation with various ageing periods, vessels and grape varieties, almost all his wines are sold as Vin De France. Many have developed cult-like followings abroad and are difficult to secure most years.
“Theia” is vinifed using grapes that have an average vine age of 35 years old. The wine displays a bright lemon with a lovely smoky, mineral nose integrating well with lovely citrus undertones. The palate is precise and fresh, with a beautiful salinity and flavours of pear, floral, menthol, clove and anise notes. Highly gastronomic and can pair well with a variety of dishes.
