Dreaming of that heat and seaside air? There are few island experiences as dreamy as Santorini which arguably makes the best Greek whites. Vassaltis is in our eyes the best producer on the island, making incredibly complex, delicious and saline wines that transport you back to sitting on that oceanside Oia terrace. One third of the Vassaltis Nassitis grapes are pressed as a whole bunch and the rest are de-stemmed. Fermenting in stainless steel tanks and stands on its lees (dead yeast) for 6 months. This process is enhancing the wines with layers of flavours and texture.
This Vassaltis Nassitis White Blend showcases elegant aromas of white flowers, lemon, apricot and melon. This medium-bodied white wine offers a bright acidity that balances its creamy texture. Alongside a lingering finish with hints of citrus, peach and saline.
