The Estate Chardonnay in fact comes from the hallowed Monte Bello plot, part of Ridge’s iconic own vineyards. It is effectively the cooler climate, north-facing section that still produces incredible Chardonnay grapes at a fraction of the price of the bigger-brother, the Monte Bello Chardonnay, one of Ridge’s flagship wines.
Golden straw colour, through this wine you’ll find interlacing aromas of both tropical and citrus fruit; pineapple, melon, honeysuckle, lemon and lime fill your mouth with flavour and texture. Elegant, round with lively acidity carrying all those delicious flavours. This wine is clean, fresh and focused with a tight, precise and long finish.
