Biodynamic producer Tenuta Lenzini make superb wines on the Tuscan coast, next to the town of Lucca.
Their house Merlot is a great introduction to the quality of the red wines they produce. Bright, deep ruby in the glass with a complex nose that of cherry, plum, red and black berries, underpinned by earthy, balsamic spicy notes.
The palate is the huge fruit explosion characteristic of Merlot. Delicious, easy to enjoy and structured enough that it will easily pair with food. An overall fantastic biodynamic Tuscan Merlot.
