While Double Canyon’s latitude is almost the same as Bordeaux, the landscape is not. Vines are grown on sandy desert terrain. characterized by low rainfall, sandy loam soils, tumbleweeds and sagebrush.

This Cabernet hits you with an enticing array of ripe red and black plums, blackberries and fresh red cherries. The nose gives delicate a sense of spiced rose petal and a touch of raspberry compote. The addition of Syrah and small amounts of other grapes provide a richer texture; the soft mouthfeel is supported by the complexity of sweet oak tannins and fresh, silky, long finish.
