Château La Coste is famous for its sculpture park, the iconic building designed by some of the world’s most renowned architects and for its flagship range of organic Provence rosés. However, they also make white and red wine on the estate!
Les Pentes Douces is their mid-level white; whilst from Provence, they work it like a white from Burgundy using oak to add complexity. It is delicately perfumed with notes of stone fruits, pineapple and cedar. In the mouth, the wine is sunny and thirst-quenching, with flavours of pineapple, vanilla, apricot, red apple alongside a defined minerality which carries through to a long finish. Textured, complex and delicious, a perfect bright, summer white.
