Bruno Paillard Coteaux Champenois Le Mesnil is a still white wine produced exclusively with Chardonnay from “Oger”. Compared with other vines in the same cru, these old vines have around 30-50% lower yield, resulting in a more intense and unique expression of the chalk terroir characteristics. This still white wine was created for the very first time in 2020.
Deep and vibrant gold colour, the 2020 vintage shows rich aromas of orange zest, fresh yuzu, floral, honeyed beeswax and plum. The palate is attacked by bursting ripe fruit, vibrant acidity with a gentle touch of salinity to support the lingering and mouthwatering finish.
This is an extremely small production with only four barrels (1109 bottles) being produced. As the first vintage of this series, this is a rare bottle made by an iconic Champagne House, with very limited stock available.
