Vintage Littorai Thieriot Chardonnay 2018

From historic winemakers, Heidi and Ted Lemon who bring their passion and professional knowledge to the production of Littorai. It began only in 1993 with the idea of producing wines of a place. Through many years of research they have perfected “regenerative” farming techniques that they apply in all their vineyards. Thieriot Vineyard is located on the Sonoma Coast and 900 feet above sea level. Allowing a cooler climate for the chardonnay grapes to thrive.

The 2018 vintage is layered with stone fruits, melon and floral notes on the nose. The touch of quince, roasted hazelnut, flintiness and saline will surface after a few swirls. It will take a moment for this medium-bodied Chardonnay to open up but once it has its air time, the tangy citrus and apricot notes, along with the precise, lean acidity will coat your palate, ending with a structured and lingering finish.
