This is partly achieved because the Chave family owns the best parcels in Hermitage and St Joseph, from which he blends with unparalleled skill. He’s quite rightly a Wine Icon and undoubtedly one of the few top producers in the Northern Rhône.

The 2018 vintage has a fresh nose of strawberry, jammed cherry, and leather. The palate has ripe tannin and a juicy acidity. A wine to enjoy from the historical Jean-Louis Chave.
