Château La Coste is famous for its sculpture park, the iconic building designed by some of the world’s most renowned architects and for its flagship range of organic Provence rosés. However, they also make white and red wine on the estate! Les Pentes Douces is their mid-level white; whilst from Provence, they work it like a white from Burgundy using oak to add complexity.
It is delicately perfumed with notes of stone fruits, pineapple, and cedar. The 2008 vintage will now show complex aromas of honeysuckle and citrus rind. In the mouth, the wine is opulent with a bright acidity. The long finish with flavours of vanilla, apricot, and red apple. A chance to taste Les Pentes Douces with age!
