Joe Swan founded the estate forty eight years ago in Sonoma County. He believed winemaking should be small crops to produce more intense, age worthy wines. Joe’s last vintage was in 1987, followed by Rob and Lynn Berglund who run the estate today.
Notes of bright red berries, plums, and tobacco leaves fill the nose. While the full-bodied palate has ripe tannins and a fresh acidity. Making this Syrah from the Russian River Valley easy-drinking!
