Joe Swan founded the estate forty eight years ago in Sonoma County. He believed winemaking should be small crops to produce more intense, ageworthy wines. Joe’s last vintage was in 1987, followed by Rob and Lynn Berglund who run the estate today. Grenache Blanc is a unique grape variety, fermented on the skins for three weeks, and aged in neutral French Oak barrels before bottling.
The nose has aromas of exotic oranges, herbs, and flowers. While the palate is extremely unique, full-bodied, and has more structure. A long rich finish make this an incredible wine for food pairings!
