Grower Series Deux Fois Champagne

Our Grower Series Champagne is a true sustainability story. “Deux Fois” translated means “twice” and in that, we mean literally in the sense that the wine comes from the second press of the grapes. It is made by a top grower in Champagne who only takes the first press of his grapes; the second (slightly less pure) would have been discarded but now goes into this outstanding, great-value Champagne. Grape sources are top-notch; Chardonnays come from the wider Côte des Blancs, Meuniers from the Marne Valley, and Pinot Noirs from the Reims Mountains.

The Champagne features a delicate lace of persistent bubbles and displays a light straw colour. The nose is dominated by white peach, pear and green apple notes, followed by a subtle hint of white flowers. 20% of this Champagne comes from aged reserve wines, building up its structure and complexity. The Champagne expresses freshness on the palate and a refreshing salinity, which leads to a long-lasting and lingering finish.
