Known for the elegance, freshness, innate intensity and depth of its wines, critic Antonio Galloni has once stated, “Tuscan estate Castello di Ama has crafted some of the most riveting wines in Tuscany… Simply put, there are few estates in Italy at this level.”

Owners Lorenza Sebasti and Marco Pallanti have been making wines here since the 1970s, around the hamlet of Ama, perched 450-550 metres above sea level. Castello di Ama is known for their commitment to excellence, which they believe begins in the vineyards. This is shown through respect and care for the land, manual processing of the grapes, and very low yields per acre to produce world class wines!

This wine displays a deep ruby-red, with aromas of violets, redcurrant, cherries and strawberries. The palate is fragrant and harmonic with well-balanced fruity notes, polished tannins and fresh acidity, leading into a long and satisfying finish.
