A family-owned vineyard, by Sir John and Philippa Hegarty. The estate is 15 hectares of vines that are surrounded by woodland and sits in the AOP Minervois region of the Languedoc. They pursue non-interventionist farming philosophy, based on biodynamic principles.
The Le Piboule wine is a delicious, slightly lighter version than Le Matelas. Expressive notes of blueberries, plums, and red cherry. In the mouth, it is energetic and juicy with bags of fruit and a touch of earthiness, pepper and smoke.
