The most famous rosé wine in the world? Maybe.
The most famous and revered rosé Champagne in the world? Definitely. The close-guarded production secrets of this cuvee go back to the origins of the house of Billecart-Salmon and have been handed down for seven generations.
This is an extremely rare bottle of NV Rosé that dates back to the 1980s. The three bottles we acquired had been stored perfectly in a private collectors cellar and they were carefully inspected before we bought them. A delicate rare thing for collectors and fans of aged Champagne where the fresh fruit characters change into secondary and tertiary flavours with a particular nuttiness. Please note the labels are clearly worn from years of ageing.
