Billecart Salmon Champagne favoured the historic Grand Cru vineyard of Mesnil-sur Oger in Côte des Blancs; to produce Billecart Salmon Rendez Vous No4 Chardonnay. This plot is where Chardonnay thrives and expresses its self to the fullest.
The wine has a bright, golden-yellow colour. Its aroma is dominated by the scent of jasmine, with undertones of minerality, fresh pineapple, and buttery brioche. The taste is elegant and sophisticated, with delicate bubbles and flavours of pear, lemon, blood orange, and hazelnut powder. The salinity note at the end emphasises its origin from the Côte des Blancs terroir. The wine finishes smoothly, with subtle hints of bergamot and almond milk. Very limited amount is available.
