The 2012 Sillon is composed from the eight great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producing terroirs in the region. 2012 vintage was a perfect growing cycle and allowed the fruit to reach perfect ripeness. This vintage cuvee was aged eight years on the lees and a further 12 months of bottle aging after disgorgement to develop concentration.
The Bruno Paillard House explains the label, “It is from the interior, deep and concentrated character of this wine that the Sillon theme was born. What could be more natural then, than to turn to a painter who has made the choice to constantly, tirelessly, deepen his art and his research always around the same sign? Claude Viallat…”
A golden colour, with complex aromas of cherry, white peach, dried fig, and honeysuckle. The refined bubbles and energetic acidity compose a long finish of cocoa and saline.
