From the Nolan Ranch in Santa Ynez’ Alisos Canyon where they are experimenting with rare plantings, this is a love letter to the South of France. Inspired by Lulu Peyraud and the old style of rosé they produced at the legendary Domaine Tempier in Bandol. Resting for six months in neutral Burgundy barrels, the Les Rascasses is lively, floral, and bright.
The 2021 vintage has aromas of juicy ripe peaches, citrus zest, and fresh red berries. The palate is accompanied by a mouthwatering acidity and long finish of crushed seashells, salinity, and provencal herbs. The wine offers a nice equilibrium to such a fresh vintage, and certainly make pairing even easier at the table!
