Barbera is a vibrant Italian red wine, this has a garnet colour with ruby red hues; the scent is decisively fruity, with notes of red fruit jam, candied cherries along with toasty and spicy notes of liquorice, prune, cinnamon and vanilla. The taste is rich, warm, intense, with a good balance between alcohol and acidity and also a structure that makes it good to age.
