Biodynamic producer Tenuta Lenzini make superb wines on the Tuscan coast, next to the townof Lucca.
‘Busce’ is their lighter-bodied, delicious red wine made from the French grape Alicante Bouschet which is one of the few red grapes capable of producing red juice without skin contact due to the colour of the berries’ flesh.
The wine is medium-bodied and offers a delicious, quaffable, plush and polished journey. With aromas and flavours of ripe red berries, violet and vanilla, slightly spiced with black pepper. A lot of fruit in the juicy, smooth palate. Lip-smackingly delicious – best enjoyed of course with pizza, pasta or cured meats and cheese. Serve a bit chilled.
