Fondo Antico from the Polizzotti-Scuderi family have 80 hectares of vineyards located in Contrada Portelli, in the Trapani area of Sicily. The family has owned the estate since the early 1800s and began producing wine in 1920. Tradition, heritage, and an understanding of the terroir are what create the beautiful wines from Fondo Antico. This single varietal cuvee of Inzolia is an expression of their history.
Delicate aromas of white fruits, almonds, and blossom. The palate has a crisp acidity, refined texture, and long aromatic finish of saline and citrus. A wonderful opportunity to taste pure Inzolia!
