Chateau Suduiraut 2004 Half Bottle

£35.00

Château Suduiraut, is a prestigious winery in Bordeaux, France, who is famed for its exceptional sweet wines, particularly Sauternes, boasting a history dating back to the 17th century. Benefiting from a unique microclimate, morning mists from the nearby Ciron River contribute to the development of noble rot on the grapes, crucial for the luscious flavors in Sauternes wines.

Château Suduiraut 2004 comes draped in all its golden yellow colour with its characteristic green flashes. The expressive nose is initially fruity (apricot, yellow peach and pineapple) before taking on more floral notes with honey and spices (vanilla). The deliciously smooth initial taste repeats the fruitiness of the nose before blossoming into its full richness underpinned by the spicy taste of the wood. The excellent acidity of the finish offsets the richness and adds length.
