This is a balanced and vibrant Syrah produced by our beloved Channing Daughters from Long Island, New York.
Much lighter than most USA Syrahs, the wine has a fragrant nose of dark fruits, black forest and a touch of balsamic herbs. The juicy palate has a real ‘zing’, with a touch of blood orange alongside contrasting red fruits. The acid is vibrant, the tannins firm and refreshing. Long finish driven by, again, a balsamic edge and delicious saltiness.
