The name Cuvee 72 comes from 36 plus 36, equalling 72 months of maturation before the Champagne is released. Bruno Paillard explains, “Cuvee 72 is a variation on the complexity of time and development of our Premiere Cuvee.” Composed of more than 30 wines the blend is still a kept secret; what we do know is the blend comes from reserve wines dating back to 1985 along with the latest harvest.
A golden colour, the nose has bright aromas of citrus, white flowers, and notes of spice. The fine bubbles and lively acidity become harmonious in the long creamy finish. A very refined Champagne to be enjoyed!
