This appellation is the only grand-cru site in the whole of the Loire Valley (!). It being so, you can imagine the purity, finesse and length this wine will possess.
Whilst the hallowed sweet wines of France come from Bordeaux, this is a definite competitor to Sauternes; it is super-intense whilst light on its feet. The wine gives you notes of honey and quince with a decadent, rich mouthfeel with exotic fruit, orange peel and zesty acidity through a long and elegant finish.
