This small domain in the heart of Menetou-Salon was created in 2003 by Laurence and Geraud de Farge. Laurence’s father Bernard was involved in setting up the Menetou-Salon appellation in 1959 and his passion for this land is obvious. Antoine, the son, is now the driving force behind this family-owned estate. With his ambition and skilful winemaking techniques, Antoine took over the land from his parents at Domaine de l’Ermitage in Menetou Salon and has developed a range of wines under his name, designed to showcase the grapes and appellations of the Eastern Loire.
The wine displays a golden yellow colour with light green hues. The nose is has pronounced aromas of candied lemon, white flowers, grapefruit and Granny Smith apples. The palate is layered, with brilliant integration between he fruit and mineral components of the wine. The finish is lively, wonderfully silky and pleasant.
