Alain Graillot is one of the icons of the Rhone. A small producer who has stuck to his morals on low intervention, classical old school techniques and the need to be “organic, without the fuss”. We have been a huge fan of his through the years and we are delighted to offer some of his wines alongside our other iconic producers.
The lesser-known wine of Crozes, the white of the sub-region is made from the traditional harmonious blend of Marsanne and Roussanne. Alain Graillot’s Crozes-Hermitage Blanc is a rich but fresh wine with some body and structure that will stand up to food. It is packed with dense flavours of bright apricot , wild flowers, white peach and a fresh, mineral edged palate. The finish is mouth-coating and long; superb with richer fish dishes, white meat, cream sauces, or classic bourguignon.
