We are very proud to have Mas de Daumas Gassac’s wines on our portfolio. Having believed in making wine in what was a farming county many decades ago, their belief in the region paid off with them proving the soil and terroir could make outstanding wine. Now generations on, they are well regarded as the ‘first growth of Languedoc’ with their flagship, complex Estate wines and now a much more affordable everyday range.
A blend of the Sercial (a grape from Madeira) and the Languedoc star, Muscat Petit Grain, this Franco-Portuguese alchemy radiates rich amber colour from the glass. The rich and candied character from the Muscat is well-balanced with the acidity and pepper note from Sercial, creating a complex and intriguing long finish.
We recommend enjoying it slightly chilled and with a port glass to allow the aromas to be fully expressed. An impeccable wine for any chocolate dessert.
Vin de Laurance is only produced in a special vintage such as 1997, 1998, 2007 & 2011. The 2020 vintage comes in an engraved wooden box, with the Mas de Daumas Gassac logo.
