Stefan Pratsch’s entry Gruner Veltliner has been a huge hit with our customers; it therefore made complete sense to add his more complex Reserve, hailing from the Steinberg vineyard, to our portfolio. This has the typical floral notes and delicious fruit aspects Gruner, with added concentration and minerality due to the site’s aspect and mineral-rich sand & limestone soils.

The wine is fresh yet concentrated, with vibrant testiness topped by delicate spiciness. The palate is round and mouth-filling. It has a nose of green & red apples, exotic fruits and peach. Great mineral backbone onto the long, expansive finish. A  great example of how single vineyard sites can produce wines with great focus, concentration and ageability.
