Bodegas Vinicola Real is an organic producer located in the heart of Rioja Alta, known for some of the highest-scoring wines in Spain. They do not use artificial herbicides and pesticides, opting for more natural methods of cultivation where they only hand-select the best parcels for each wine.
200 Monges Gran Reserva 2007 unfurls a spectrum of profound aromas, with prominent highlights of fine cabinetry and tobacco, interwoven with a hint of sweet spices. On the nose, the scent of ripe and dark fruits, such as plums and blackberries, is clearly discernible, complemented by a subtle spicy undertone. On the palate, this red wine is robust and well-structured, delivering a rich texture that mirrors its maturity and complexity.
