Nicolas Francois was created in 1964 as a tribute to the House’s founder. The cuvee is produced by blending Grands Crus from the classified Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims vineyards.
An elegant golden yellow, with aromas of apple, peach, candied mandarin peel, and acacia flower. The complex palate has fine bubbles and a bright acidity coming from the limestone soils. A long intense finish of fresh quince, honey biscuits, and fresh fig create a harmonious ending. 2008 was an impressive vintage with great depth and pure minerality.
