Adam Sabelli-Frisch works with some of the oldest vines in America. He takes these rare old plantings and makes the wine in an urban winery in Los Angeles. From the fantastic old vine Stampede vineyard, that has produced many award-winning wines, comes this fruity and elegant dry White Zinfandel. Stampede is an own-rooted vineyard planted in the 1930’s in sandy soils.
This distinctive blend of Mission and Riesling showcases the best of both varieties. From Mission, it brings intriguing notes of herbal tinctures and subtle botanicals, while the Riesling contributes its signature petrol character layered with lean pear acidity. A touch of toastiness adds further complexity to the profile. Bone dry in style (Extra Brut), this wine is crisp, characterful, and endlessly intriguing.
