Old vine Rioja at its best – the vines are 80+ years old and wines were aged in lightly toasted French oak barrels.
Bright cherry in colour. The wine is packed with scented aromas of fresh raspberries and red cherries, sweet spice and herbs. Thanks to the 80-year-old vine, the palate is extremely concentrated with a touch of vegetal note at the back, supported by bright acidity and a long finish.
Only 1450 bottles were produced in the 2017 vintage and we are so lucky to get part of the allocation. Limited availability, get one or two bottles to experience this juicy yet elegant Garnacha from the high-altitude Rioja.
