The HJ Wiemer Flower Day Riesling is biodynamically produced wine with hand-harvested harvested fruit, carefully selected over multiple passes in the estate’s vineyards’ best parcels.

The Flower Day wine is a go-between their brilliant Dry Riesling, and their top Biodynamic HJ Riesling. You get the best of both worlds with this wine and at a lower price than the top single-vineyard with more texture and a richer mouthfeel than the entry-level wine. The name comes from the biodynamic calendar, named after one of the four kinds of days: root days, flower days, fruit days, and leaf days.

The wine is fresh and exuberant; dry with a touch of playful effervescence. Both floral with classic Riesling complexity, it tastes like a middle ground between the germanic-esq HJ Bio and the dry Riesling that the estate produces. A super dry, crisp mouthfeel with bags of juicy lychee and a very long finish.
