A new world Chardonnay with old-world soul, this is a full-bodied white that has power and elegance in equal amounts. It has an incredibly structured palate, with rich flavour complexity ranging from  toasted almonds, to yellow apple and quince. The oak is very well integrated giving it a delicious smoky edge.

Made from 100% chardonnay grapes grown on Babylonstoren, this wine is matured in 50% new and 50% second-use French oak barrels. That gives it a big oakey profile whilst still being classy and sleek. Expect hints of subtle citrus fruit softened with textured creaminess – ideal with creamy dishes, nuts or sushi. Ready to be enjoyed now, or in the next four to six years.

With supple texture and intense nutty character this South African pour is the ultimate ‘food wine’.  The perfect companion for a cheese platter, light pasta or white fish dishes with creamy sauces.
