The 1997 vintage was crafted from 2 hectares of bush vines situated high on a granitic ridge, offering a stunning vantage point over the historic town of Stellenbosch and the surrounding mountains. This wine is refined, elegant, and juicy, featuring a lightly savoury finish. Over the past 25+ years, the tannins have transitioned from firm to velvety, providing a subtle grip on the palate without overpowering.

This Pinotage is characteristic of the Stellenbosch style from the 1990s, crafted in a slightly greener manner and not overly sweetened by overripe grapes.
