Jufark (pronounced You-fark) is a grape native to Somlo in Hungary in the West of the country. Somlo is famous for a big hill, borne from volcanic rock which possesses incredible minerality. Kolonic’s Jufark is the top wine of his estate and the wines he is most famous for.
The wine is light golden in colour and intensely packed with light fruit flavours and minerality but at the same time possesses and overall, pleasing richness. It is a light-medium bodied wine with flavours of peach, lemon, apple, straw, apricot, a little butteriness and a mouthwatering savoury finish.
