Exceptional Sardinian volcanic soil wines made by two sisters
Two “sorres” (or sisters in English) making exceptional wine in Sardinia. But it didn’t start there. For them, producing wine is first about tradition; they watched their grandfathers do it, then they saw their fathers doing it. It was these experiences that provided the passion and support to start their own project on the land that their grandfather passed down to them.
How Richard found them: a customer mentioned he tried some exceptional wine at a wine fair in London and the producer wasn’t imported. We had ventured to Sardinia 9 months before but couldn’t find any wines that were really great. Delia was fantastically Sardinian (direct and passionate!) and more importantly, the wine was exceptional. Benefiting from the high altitude and direct ocean breeze, this is Grenache not as you know it!
They believe that quality wine is first born in the vineyard. This is why they use sustainable agriculture methods, respecting the soil and ensuring low environmental impact by rational use of natural resources, reducing the need for pesticides and machinery.
Their organic wines provide a defined expression of the Romagia land in NW Sardinia in which they were born. Unique and authentic they are a result of a process that respects nature and identity from grape to glass.
