Saint Olive is the first urban winemaking wineries in Lyon, producing hand-crafted wines on-site. They exclusively use local grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Gamay, and Syrah. The fruits are carefully selected from seven estates located within an 80-kilometer radius of the winery.
The Syrah 480 is a superb introduction to the style of The Rhone. It has a nose of pure red and black, and forest fruits, pepper, black olive and a ‘meaty’ savouriness that gives it a broad palate. The wine has a finish of sweet red fruits and savoury green notes. Delicious, medium-plus Syrah that edges you towards another glass.
