Le Grappin is a prime example of the new wave of vignerons who have been drawn to Burgundy to make modern yet classic examples of superb parcels of wine.
Crafted from vines that are 40 to 70 years old, the 2017 vintage has a subtle aroma of black fruits, spices, and a hint of floral notes. On the palate, it is dense and flinty, with a strong presence of blackberry and herb flavours, complemented by fine tannins. The finish is long and characterised by black fruit flavours that linger.
