Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wineries in France, notorious for its elegance, poise and ageing potential. Beaucastel has an exceptional terroir at the Northern point of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the cooling Mistral wind which provides such balance. All thirteen grape varieties of the Chateauneuf have been organically grown since the sixties; without a doubt, Beaucastel is a name we are proud to highlight and an organic wine icon that many have learnt from.
The wine has a pale yellow colour from the glass. It reveals aromas of peaches and honey, accompanied by fruit notes reminiscent of orange marmalade, along with hints of lemon oil and citrus on the palate. The wine is framed by a rounded, rich texture that balances freshness with floral elements, showcasing excellent condition after nearly 20 years in the bottle.
