Domaine de Bellevue is a renowned certified organic and biodynamic producer in the Pays Nantais that is forging a modern path for Muscadet through creative winemaking, fearless experimentation and true passion thanks to Jerome Bretaudeau. Because of his freestyle experimentation with various ageing periods, vessels and grape varieties, almost all his wines are sold as Vin De France. Many have developed cult-like followings abroad and are difficult to secure most years.
“Gaia” is vinified using grapes that have an average vine age of 60 years old. The wine displays a bright lemon with intense aromas of mint, grapefruit, flint, honey and spice. The palate is layered and complex with flavours of herbs, cloves, anise and smoke. The finishing is long and lingering. A stunning wine from the well renowned producer.
