A epic collaboration between renowned vintner Paul Hobbs and local viticultor Antonio López Fernández. In 2015 the two set out to elevate Spanish indigenous grape varietals with high quality site selection and sustainable viticultural techniques. This path lead to them deciding to plant their vines in the small town of Alvaredos, renowned for their steep terraced slopes surrounded by a picturesque mountain range. This results in extremely wines, which are highly complex, age-worthy with a familiar sense of place, which represents the vision that both winemakers share.
Deep straw in colour with green hues, this aromatic white beckons with scents of white florals, stone fruit, and citrus, with a beguiling undertone of lemon verbena and wet slate. On the palate, the wine presents vibrant notes of grapefruit, apple, and lime, with hints of clover honey, tangerine zest, and white pepper. Medium bodied with crunchy minerality, an elegant mouthfeel, and a creamy, lingering finish.
