Bodegas Vinicola Real is an organic producer located in the heart of Rioja Alta, known for some of the highest-scoring wines in Spain. They do not use artificial herbicides and pesticides, opting for more natural methods of cultivation where they only hand-select the best parcels for each wine.
Vina Los Valles is a certified organic red wine made from Tempranillo & Grenache grapes from old vines. The wine has just 6-months of oak ageing to soften out the wine and give some layered complexity. The colour is a mid-toned, bright cherry red with aromas of strawberries, raspberries, and sour cherries alongside a lovely mountain herbaceousness. On the palate, the wine is balanced, spicy, and elegant, with flavours of cherry, fig, baking spices and a touch of vanilla. It has a bright finish with juicy acidity and a long finish. Rioja is, of course very food-friendly and pairs with a lot of foods -our favourite being the Sunday roast!
