This beautiful wine from Raúl Pérez expresses the pure character of Mencía, Bierzo’s queen grape. A collaboration between Raul Perez and his nephew César Márquez. The vines are planted in sandy clay soils at elevation. A very complex wine produced from unique winemaking techniques.

Deep aromas of rose, blackberry, herbs, cherry liquor, and cinnamon fill the nose. Smooth and opulent on the mouth, paired with round tannins, and intense red fruit. The finish is long and appetizing. This wine transcends its price category and complexity.
